Senior UX/UI Designer (SaaS Applications)

Job Title: Senior UX/UI Designer
Location: San Antonio, TX, or Remote. Must be available during CST hours.
Job Type: Contract with potential to hire

Kaeppel Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to work for a client in San Antonio, TX. 

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end UX processes for our SaaS application, from provided requirements and ideation to high-fidelity design and implementation.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define product vision and requirements.
• Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across all products.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that reflect user needs and business goals.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on SaaS applications.
• Proven track record of delivering user-centered design solutions, demonstrated through a robust portfolio that includes case studies.
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Creative Suite) and experience with design systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex user needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior designers.
