Job Description

Job Title: Private Chef for High Net Worth Family

Location: San Fransisco & Various vacation homes (Extensive Travel Required) 

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

A prestigious high net worth family is seeking an experienced and dedicated Private Chef to join their household. The ideal candidate will be a culinary expert with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences, flexibility to travel extensively, and the ability to adapt to a constantly changing menu and work schedule. This role requires working on all holidays and is not required but best suited for a single individual due to the demanding nature of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and prepare daily meals for the family, including lunch, dinner, and snacks.

- Create customized menus that cater to the family's dietary preferences and nutritional requirements.

- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

- Source high-quality, fresh ingredients from local and international suppliers.

- Accommodate last-minute changes to meal plans and special requests.

- Travel with the family to various locations, ensuring consistent meal quality regardless of location.

- Manage inventory for kitchen supplies and ingredients.

- deliver lunches to the office occasionally.

- Coordinate with household staff to ensure seamless meal service.

- Stay updated on culinary trends and continuously innovate and introduce new dishes.

- Handle special events, dinners, and parties hosted by the family.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Private Chef or in a similar role for high net worth individuals.

- Formal culinary training from a reputable institution is a plus.

- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines and culinary techniques.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to work long hours, including all holidays and weekends.

- Flexibility to travel extensively and be away from home for extended periods.

- Clean background check and professional references required.

- Comfortable with technology for most communication with principal for menus and schedule.
