Job Description:
As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll play a key role in positively impacting our members' lives by providing innovative and personalized mortgage solutions. In this position, you'll gain experience with mortgage-specific systems and prepare to reactivate your NMLS license. Once your license is reactivated, you'll receive leads and use your consultative sales skills, along with your newly acquired mortgage knowledge, to offer residential HELOCs. As you grow in the role, you'll also have the opportunity to learn about and present future products.
What You'll Do:
- Assess and analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property details to determine mortgage eligibility.
- Guide and educate clients on various mortgage products and the application process.
- Assist clients in completing mortgage applications, including gathering all necessary information for approval.
- Efficiently navigate the mortgage sales environment using tools like the Loan Origination System, CRM, and credit vendor systems throughout the mortgage process.
- Maintain consistent communication with prospects, loan applicants, and third-party vendors, ensuring follow-up throughout the mortgage process.
- Obtain multiple state mortgage licenses within the first 45 days and develop expertise in traditional mortgage products (conventional, government, or Non-QM).
What You'll Bring:
- Residency in Arizona (required).
- Active NMLS license (or the ability to reactivate it).
- Successful completion of the SAFE exam.
- At least 1 year of experience in mortgage lending.
- Ability to meet state and federal MLO licensing requirements, including pre-license education, testing, and background checks.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Enthusiasm, strong communication skills, self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a competitive spirit.
