Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and career-driven Junior Civil Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a young professional eager to grow and advance within a supportive and collaborative setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a keen interest in taking on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal developments.
* Conduct site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other).
* Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
* Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
* Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other software tools to create detailed engineering designs and plans.
* Participate in client meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
* Support the preparation of proposals and project bids as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* 1-4 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on design and project management preferred.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
* A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.
* EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification is preferred; PE (Professional Engineer) licensure is a plus.
