MCM Staffing is currently looking for a CNC Mill Operator for our client in Detroit, MI.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4pm-12:30am
Pay: $23+ based on experience

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in operating CNC milling machines and be proficient in reading technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup: Prepare and set up CNC milling machines for production runs.
• Material Loading: Load raw materials into machines and secure them properly.
• Tool Selection: Select appropriate cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds for optimal results.
• Quality Control: Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with machines or programs to minimize downtime.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC mills and keep work area clean and organized.
• Documentation: Record production data, including dimensions and quantities produced.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator or similar role.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and dexterity for manual tasks and standing for extended periods.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or certification in CNC machining is a plus.
• Previous experience in operating CNC milling machines.

Work Environment:

The CNC Mill Operator will work in a manufacturing environment, often standing for long periods and operating machinery. Personal protective equipment may be required.
