Job Description

Adecco is assisting a local client in hiring a Wire EDM Operator familiar with Espirit CAM software in East Providence, RI to work Monday to Friday on 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM at a pay range of $45,000 to $65,000 per year.

Wire EDM Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience with Wire EDM using Espirit CAM software.
• Able to “indicate” a workpiece.
• Able to read blueprints/technical drawings of tool components.
• Able to read a micrometer to “tenths” - .0001”.
• Able to inspect all your own work on a manual optical comparator machine with a digital readout.
• Communicate well with engineering and the tool room departments.

ADDITIONAL NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience programming from a cad file for the wire EDM.
• Experience with Esprit CAM software for programming wire EDM.
• Experience with Mitsubishi wire EDM.
• Experience with Conventional wire EDM.
• Experience wire EDM’ing close tolerance shapes.
• Experience wire EDM’ing openings with die taper.
• Experience with progressive die construction.
• Experience in drawing with Autocad.
• Experience in progressive die design.

Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
