Job Description

Miaou is seeking a warehouse manager to oversee operations across our in-house & 3P global fulfillment centers in Los Angeles and Hong Kong.

This skilled multitasker will manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. The warehouse manager must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfillment, and track shipping times for thousands of product orders every year. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to self-manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.

Role Objectives:

  • Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with customer satisfaction the primary goal — by supervising, organizing and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods
  • Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
  • Review and prepare workflows, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, and shipping
  • Main point of contact for all Domestic & International 3PL
  • Send shipment tracking information to receiving, and tracking labels/orders sent to 3PL 
  • Collect packing lists and carton information, as well as routing customer orders
  • Create requests and guides for any vendor-added services (V.A.S.) such as QC Checks, labeling, and inventory counts
  • Communicate to the wholesale team and allocate orders when goods are received in 
  • Collect packing lists from 3PL and generate shipping invoices
  • Work cross-functionally with the finance and accounting teams to allocate and reconcile inventory and invoices accordingly.
  • Communicate to the team once orders have been shipped
  • Manage tracker for incoming D2C goods and communicate delays to the appropriate teams
  • Receive goods from 3PL to Wholesale Inventory, then allocate inventory to B2B orders.
  • Push through inventory updates into Shopify and make sure this automatic process is working
  • Participate in weekly meetings cross-functionally (Production, Sales, Ecomm) to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention
  • Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
  • Replying to tickets regarding shipments/delayed shipments
  • Managing/streamlining the short shipment process
  • Lost/stolen orders & claims with UPS

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in program / logistics / distribution / fulfillment management / 3PL
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
  • Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with WMS / ERP / inventory management software
  • Excellent technical skills - Google Workspace / MS Office (specifically Excel) 
  • System integration experience
  • Effective relationship-building skills
  • Ability to cultivate strong partnerships across teams
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong time management skills - ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • “Can-do” positive attitude and “a roll up your sleeves” approach is a must! 
  • Heavy Lifting sometimes required
  • Personal Vehicle for pick up / drop offs when needed
  • Preferred a Truck / van with space for larger cartons when needed
