Job Description

Pyramid Technologies, Inc. (Pyramid) a dynamic nationwide company, is seeking an Inventory Manager. We need a detail-oriented strong leader with good problem-solving skills, can multi-task, has great organizational skills, has a good attitude, and works well with others.

 In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of two and verifying the inventory levels by conducting regular physical counts, and reconciling inventory data. Our ideal candidate must be technologically literate to ensure the integrity of the data within the inventory management system, and physical inventory is accurate. When you're not doing inventory, you're ensuring that the warehouse is cleaned and organized in order to reduce safety risks.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Records all adjustments, discrepancies and warehouse pulling discrepancies and reports them weekly.
  • Manages to ensure compliance with company policy and vision.
  • Manages (2) inventory specialist employees and (1) quality inspector employee.
  • Reports regularly on stock inventory control and optimization solutions.
  • Responsible for warehouse layout and ensuring efficient space utilization.
  • Partners with purchasing and production for inventory needs.
  • Forensic analysis of inventory inconsistencies between software and physical inventory. 
  • Able to establish and implement new processes where needed.
  • Assists in maintaining 100% inventory accuracy.
  • Communicates potential quality issues to Production Manager and Engineering.
  • Supplies the shop floor with any inventory needs.
  • Ensures quality control measures are in place.
  • Safety oriented PIT equipment operator.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Proficient in data entry and experienced with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in quality or inventory field. 
  • Has experience with MRP or ERP systems and how they work. 
  • Full time Monday thru Friday shift with some overtime required as needed.
  • Able to continuously stand or walk; regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate to heavy weight (8 - 40 pounds).
  • Air conditioned facility environment.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Associates degree in management/related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful experience within a management function in a similar environment.

Additional Information:

  • Office hours are strictly Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
