Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This is a remote position, allowing you to provide vital speech therapy services to K-12 students in a school district in Mississippi, all from the comfort of your home.
As a Virtual SLP, you will play a key role in supporting students' communication development by assessing and treating speech and language disorders. You will create personalized therapy plans, conduct virtual sessions, and work closely with the educational team to ensure each student's progress. In addition, you'll have access to a robust toolkit of resources and ongoing clinical and technical support to enhance your therapy sessions and ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Virtual Therapy: Deliver speech therapy services to K-12 students in Mississippi through a secure and user-friendly online platform.
Assessment & Treatment: Conduct thorough speech assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement effective interventions to address speech and language challenges.
Documentation & Progress Tracking: Keep detailed records of therapy sessions, track student progress, and update treatment plans as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, teachers, and parents to monitor student progress, adapt therapy strategies, and ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
Engaging Virtual Sessions: Use a variety of digital tools and resources to create interactive and engaging therapy lessons that keep students motivated and focused.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest best practices in teletherapy and speech-language pathology, and apply them in your virtual practice.

Qualifications:
Education: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Licensing: Active Mississippi state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certification: ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required.
Experience: Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
Teletherapy Experience: Experience with or comfort in delivering therapy through online platforms is a plus.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Student Engagement: Ability to effectively engage students using virtual tools and resources to facilitate learning.

Salary: $ 15.00 20.00 Per Hour
