Summary

Valley Early Learning Academy is a new childcare opportunity for employees of the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation. We are located within Mentone Elementary School in Mentone, Indiana. Valley Early Learning Academy will support children ages 6 weeks - 3 years old.

Duties

• Help establish and enforce best practices for the academy.
• Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean, safe, and organized.
• Assists with the implementation of education during all classroom activities.
• Assists with the planning and execution of nutritious meals for students.
• Assist with the preparation of instructional materials
• Assists lead teacher with recording student progress data
• Follows all state and local regulations (ratios, standards, etc..)
• Maintain and follow appropriate professional behaviors and attire per handbook
• Other duties as assigned by Valley Early Learning Coordinator or Lead Instructor

Requirements

Must be 18 years older or older
High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Some college training preferred
Over all experience working with children ages 6 months - 3 years old
