Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to students in kindergarten through 12th grade through teletherapy sessions.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Monitor and document student progress, collaborating regularly with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure a holistic approach to support.
Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and IEP goals.
Actively participate in IEP meetings and other relevant meetings to discuss students' progress and next steps.
Stay informed about the latest best practices, trends, and research in speech-language pathology to continuously improve therapy services.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Maryland.
Maryland teaching certification.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting.
Proficiency in teletherapy technology and virtual communication platforms.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space for conducting virtual therapy sessions.
