The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
The Division of Scholarship and Research at the School of Nursing is recruiting a Student Research Worker to work as a part of Dr. Melissa Beauchemin???s research team. The casual will work closely with Dr. Beauchemin to support a research study that is testing the usability of a culturally adapted mHealth app for Spanish-speaking families of children who have undergone stem cell transplant.
The successful candidate must possess prior experience conducting research interviews, a high level of initiative, excellent organizational and communication skills, and be attentive to detail in addition to familiarity with data management, and ability to work on site in clinical locations.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor???s degree and current enrollment at Columbia University.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous research experience is desired.
Statistical and database management experience desired.
At least one year of related experience, or equivalent in education, training and experience.
Computer fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a team.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable
