Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will collaborate with various accounting, finance, and operations teams to ensure a smooth monthly close cycle. Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the operations team in executing company strategies
- Preparing and posting general journal entries while maintaining accurate records and files
- Addressing accounting and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting data
- Analyzing current accounting procedures and recommending improvements
- Preparing and analyzing accrual-based financial statements, including trend and budget variance analyses
- Maintaining detailed reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts
- Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed
- Performing other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with management and colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A detail-oriented and accuracy-driven approach

- Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required)
- Experience in the healthcare or public accounting sector (preferred)
