Job Description

We're excited to announce that we are expanding our team and looking for a Staff Accountant to join us! This is a full-time position with flexible hybrid or remote options available, based out of our office in Holland, MI.

As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in our financial operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing sales tax compliance, maintaining bank registers, and assisting in the preparation of month-end financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Assist in preparing month-end and other financial reports
- Coordinate and assist with tax sale compliance with our partner
- Maintain and manage bank registers
- Perform reconciliations
- Help maintain accurate financial records

What We're Looking For:

We believe the ideal candidate will bring the following skills and experience:

- An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing
- Proficiency in financial management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Knowledge of tax regulations and financial laws
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
