This position may be filled in any State Fund location, which may include the following: Bakersfield, Eureka, Fresno, Oxnard, Pleasanton, Redding, Riverside, Glendale, Rohnert Park, Sacramento, Santa Ana, San Diego, Stockton, or Vacaville.

Under the direction of the Assistant Claims Manager, the incumbent will:

  • Ensure timely and accurate benefit provision, according to claims management, corporate policies & procedures and DWC laws and regulations
  • Proactively and independently, manage, finalize and control (adjust) an inventory
  • Work collaboratively as a member within a team of claims professionals and with other stakeholders
  • Serve as a resource to other team members and/or other internal staff
  • Ensure delivery of a high quality claims product as demonstrated by successful execution of job duties

  • Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert for trainings and projects
