Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and qualified School Psychologist to join our team on a fully remote, 1099 contract basis. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Comprehensive Psychological Assessments: Perform detailed evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
Collaborate with School Teams: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school administrators to create and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
Provide Counseling & Crisis Support: Offer counseling services to students, and provide immediate intervention during emotional or behavioral crises.
Attend IEP Meetings: Actively participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, contributing your expertise to the development and review of student progress.
Maintain Confidentiality: Keep accurate and confidential records of student assessments and progress, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Consult with Staff: Offer valuable guidance and recommendations to school staff on managing student behavior, addressing emotional concerns, and developing mental health strategies.
Qualifications:
A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Active School Psychologist certification/licensure in the state where you will be practicing.
At least 2 years of experience in a school setting, with a focus on psychological assessments and student counseling.
Proficiency with remote assessment tools and virtual platforms to conduct evaluations and meetings.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
The ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and prioritize your caseload efficiently.
