MANDATORY: Considering local candidates with US Citizenship and active security clearance
POSITION SUMMARY Serves as Secretary of a team of part time on call (PTOC) employees that provide exercise support during computer assisted (simulation driven) military training exercises for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps for the Mission Command Training Center Program (MCTP). Mission Command Training Program (MCTP – formerly the Battle Command Training Program), based at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, is the U.S. Army's only worldwide deployable Combat Training Center.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Coordinate with MILVETS Corporate on time and travel codes for each exercise along with providing a list of personnel attending each exercise or training to the MILVETS Corporate; FSO, HR, Payroll, AP, Travel Manager
- Assist in training documents which will provide guidance for PTOC with expense reports, payroll, and other training as needed
- Coordinate with MILVETS AP, Payroll, and Expense Manager for timely billing to Northrop Grumman (NG)
- Assist all MCTP PTOC with other travel necessary requirements to include passports with MILVETS HQ
- Track training requirements necessary for PTOC to meet MCTP standards
- Assist in Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) packet tracking when there is an overseas location to include Work Permits submitted through Northrop Grumman (NG). Korea – NOVEMBER 2023
- Assist in the creation of work permits as assigned by NG
- Assist with daily communications with NG leadership in the absence of the PM
- Assist in pulling resumes through JAZZ of potential applicants and getting them through the hiring process and then sent to HR for hiring and onboarding
- Aid in the distribution of hotel rosters, exercise manning rosters, car rosters, and other transportation needs related to exercise movement as needed for PTOC and NG POC’s
- Aid in the coordination of block room requirements with NG management and coordination with MILVETS travel as needed for every exercise
- Aid in the submission and creation of exercise account to the MCTP WARSIM and SIMLAN portal for all MILVETS PTOC personnel assigned to the exercise
- Aid in the two annual NG Certification Training. Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, of new MILVETS PTOC personnel
- Ensure all MILVETS PTOC personnel have the credentials to be assigned to an exercise which includes badging for MCPT access to facilities, along with a current Common Access Card. This is in coordination with the NG Security Manager
- Ensure availability to assist any MCTP PTOC personnel as needed
- Ensure all necessary personnel information for all MILVETS PTOC is input and updated into the EPTMS system or future system in order to produce necessary rosters and information pertaining to each exercise
- Assist in any other duties necessary as assigned by the MCTP PM
EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS
- Must have a current Secret Clearance
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and tasks within an agile and dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and multi-tasking
