Job Description

Position Overview:

The Safety Manager will provide oversight of all safety programs for construction projects in commercial construction environments. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in safety management within commercial construction, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Provide safety training and education for workers.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes.
• Prepare incident reports and corrective action plans.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of safety management experience in commercial construction.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
