Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Regional Property Manager to oversee our properties in the Inland Empire region. This role is crucial in ensuring top-notch management and support for our community-focused mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Advocate for our mission and lead with enthusiasm.
Oversee property administration, compliance, and maintenance within the region, striving for 100% occupancy.
Build and guide a team of dedicated Community Managers committed to resident satisfaction.
Collaborate with Community Managers and partners to deliver impactful social programs.
Represent the organization positively within the community and build strong relationships.
What You'll Do:
Compliance: Work with the Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to all regulatory agreements, resident documentation, and re-certifications.
Property Operations: Monitor property operations, manage vacancies, and oversee maintenance. Coordinate startup activities including staff hiring and training.
Financial Management: Oversee fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, cash handling, and invoicing. Collaborate with the Asset Manager on budget finalizations and handle accounts receivables.
Human Resources: Manage hiring, training, and employee supervision in line with company policies. Maintain positive relationships with internal departments.
Customer Service: Address resident issues professionally, creating a supportive and engaging community environment.
Resident Programs: Work with Community Managers and partners to ensure ongoing supportive services and develop high-quality resident programs.
Community Relations: Build relationships with local agencies, schools, and other community groups to support our programs.
Development: Partner with the development team to explore future opportunities and implement marketing strategies in alignment with our vision.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong positive attitude and commitment to excellent service.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to make sound decisions and support company goals.
Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage budgets and oversee community programs.
Experience in building external relationships and promoting the organization.
Ability to understand and work with diverse populations.
Experience with Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi preferred).
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Regularly sit, stand, read, and type.
Daily walking, with up to 6 hours of continuous walking during property inspections.
Driving and operating office equipment.
