Job Description

Large resin/chemical manufacturer looking to expand their team with a Mechanical/Process Engineer.

Salary $75,000 - $135,000 (depending on years of experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Is the subject matter expert and applies technical tools such as RCFA, FMEA, RCM, etc., to drive continuous improvements, optimize costs and asset effectiveness; generates work orders as recommended from these programs.
* Manage the Predictive Maintenance program and pursue continuous improvement of site-wide predictive and preventative maintenance programs, including preparation of PM requirements for new equipment.
* Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and metrics for proactive identification and resolution of reliability issues.
* Provides technical expertise and input on scope of work for daily maintenance and turnaround jobs.
* Ensures work requests include engineering input on repair details such as clearances, tolerances, materials of construction, welding procedures, etc.

Qualifications:

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
* 2+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing with a focus on rotating equipment (preferred)
* Knowledge of AutoCAD, CMMS, PSM, and Six Sigma Principles.
* PE, PMP, API Certifications preferred but not required.
