The Garwood laboratory at the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research has an opening for a postdoctoral researcher involving a project focused on developing new techniques and hardware for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MR) with small, compact magnets having highly nonuniform magnetic fields. The project is currently funded by the NIH, and the position is for 1 year starting immediately.
A successful candidate is expected to have a strong background in innovating advanced electronics and software for MRI. Experience acquiring and processing experimentally obtained MR data are desired.

Required Qualifications:
⢠PhD in Electrical Engineering
⢠At least 4 Years of research experience in MRI technical development
⢠Experience designing, building, and testing prototype MRI scanner hardware
