Plant Operations Manager - Machining Manufacturing - Base Salary to 120k/year - Henderson, KY

• Our client, a well-established family owned, small though rapidly growing metal machining manufacturing company, is seeking a Plant Operations Manager for their Henderson, KY area location. The Plant Operations Manager will help our client build their team and processes into their next phase (expecting 35% growth in near future)!
• This is an onsite position, day shift hours Monday - Friday; occasional Saturdays; opportunity to potentially help build out an additional shift.

Responsibilities:

• Cover both the production floor and front office, scheduling all jobs and overseeing quality. Shop walks throughout day to ensure Productivity & Quality
• Ensure all appropriate safety practices are followed and hold monthly OSHA training meetings.
• Serve as HAZMAT primary coordinator
• Oversee maintenance staff and shop cleanliness. Review the preventative maintenance schedule; ensure timely repairs as needed.
• Ensure customer satisfaction; on-time delivery; handle any service/ warranty issues (directly, and with office staff support)

Qualifications:

• 7+ years metal fabrication/ machining manufacturing experience
• 3+ years supervisory/ management experience
• Strong interpersonal/ customer service skills to effectively lead the team, as well as work with customers
• Proven team building leadership skills; ability to manage growth changes
• Computer basics: MS Office software comfortability
• Ability to maximize production, reduce costs, and develop the team
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (CI) background a plus!

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 100k - 120k/year range
