Job Description

We are currently working with a manufacturer in Jefferson County, IL that is looking to fill the position of Plant Manager.

This Plant Manager is responsible for the managerial direction of all plant operating functions so that the product is produced and shipped within cost, quality, and time standards. As a plant manager, you must have a strong passion and drive to develop the people around you to perform at their peak potential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

· Strong leadership skills

· Recognized needs and have the ability to request assistance.

· Excellent analytical skills/abilities.

· 5+ years of related experience, and specific knowledge required in planning and forecasting.

· Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications.

· Excellent team building and project management skills.

· Travel Required (10%).

· Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports using Microsoft Office.

· Experience managing in a Union Environment.

· 4 Year Degree Preferred.

· Maintenance leadership experience with TPM, PLC, and SMED a plus.

· Employee Focused Leadership style desirable.
