Key Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care & Program Implementation:
Implement and manage various patient care programs, including Medication Therapy Management, immunization services, and adherence programs.
Ensure the successful execution of partner-established pharmacy programs.
Provide comprehensive patient consultations, medication management, and drug therapy reviews.
Clinical Quality & Compliance:
Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in clinical pharmacy services by evaluating and redesigning processes.
Monitor and analyze results to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, standard operating procedures, and FDA regulations.
Conduct data and clinical reviews, and take necessary actions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications.
Financial Performance:
Contribute to regional pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with financial goals.
Implement and execute patient intervention programs to maximize reimbursements.
Patient Experience & Communication:
Enhance the patient experience by focusing on healthcare services and building strong patient relationships.
Provide expert clinical consultation and knowledge to patients, doctors, and insurance plans.
Actively listen to patient concerns and provide valuable feedback on customer retention programs.
Review drug histories and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe drug therapy.
Leadership & Support:
Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to fellow pharmacists and field leadership.
Support staff training and development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative team environment and promote company values and standards.
Remote Prescription Processing:
Responsible for prescription processing from a remote setting.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, including HIPAA guidelines.
Follow guidelines and procedures for all job responsibilities in order to meet goals.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
Licensure: Current Pharmacist license in the appropriate state.
Skills:
Ability to motivate and guide team members.
Experience handling confidential information.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
