Job Description

Cooper Auto Group is currently accepting applications for an experienced automotive retail parts manager. 

  • Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department.
  • Hire, train, and monitor the performance o fall parts department staff.
  • Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of all dealership departments.
  • Create pricing guidelines for customer categories.
  • Supervise stock order procedures.
  • Monitor and conduct scheduled and spot inventory as necessary.
  • Work closely with service department to ensure timely turnaround of necessary parts.
  • Provide technical assistance with necessary.
  • Develop and enforce customer experience guidelines to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Enforce safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous Parts Manager experience in an automotive dealership environment. 
  • Knowledge of primary automotive parts, parts numbers, and common associated parts.
  • Expertise in automotive parts related software.
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to identify practical problems and provide effective and efficient solutions.
