Key Responsibilities
Course Delivery: Provide engaging and high-quality instruction that aligns with course objectives and program standards. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, applying adult learning principles where necessary.
Learning Outcomes: Set clear, measurable teaching objectives and outcomes. Use various instructional techniques to cater to different learning styles and ensure student success.
Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, educational institutions, and nonprofit professionals to ensure that course content is current and relevant.
Student Engagement: Actively participate in orientations, meetings, program graduations, and required training sessions. Foster an interactive classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking.
Administrative Duties: Keep accurate records, including attendance, grades, and assessments, in the learning management system. Ensure timely submission of all required documentation.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Create an inclusive, respectful classroom atmosphere that embraces diverse perspectives. Integrate DEI principles into your course content and teaching strategies.
Professional Conduct: Maintain high standards of professionalism, ensuring a positive, respectful, and supportive learning experience for all students.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor to meet the needs of the training program.
Qualifications
Nonprofit Leadership: At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles within the nonprofit sector, with expertise in organizational operations, strategic planning, and workforce development.
Teaching Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching or facilitation experience, particularly with adult learners in either classroom or virtual settings.
Instructional Tools: Familiarity with learning management systems and the ability to integrate technology effectively into the learning process.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to simplify complex concepts for a diverse audience.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work well in team environments and engage with community partners to enhance learning opportunities.
Remote Instruction: Experience teaching in hybrid or virtual environments is a plus. Familiarity with HyFlex delivery models is a bonus.

Schedule and Delivery
Training schedules are flexible to accommodate the needs of participants. Courses typically involve approximately 45 hours of content and may be offered in in-person, hybrid, or fully online formats. Evening or weekend availability may be required.
Compensation
This part-time role offers competitive hourly compensation, ranging from $60 to $100 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
