Key Responsibilities
Course Delivery: Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in line with course objectives and standards. Use varied teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and meet the needs of all students.
Learning Outcomes: Clearly communicate course goals and measurable outcomes. Adapt your approach to support different learning preferences and promote critical thinking.
Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, educational institutions, and nonprofit professionals to ensure the course content is current and relevant to industry needs.
Engagement: Foster an interactive classroom environment by encouraging participation and providing opportunities for students to apply what they've learned. Attend orientations, meetings, graduations, and training sessions to stay connected with students.
Administration: Keep accurate records, including attendance, grading, and assessments. Submit documentation on time in accordance with program guidelines.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Create an inclusive learning environment by respecting and integrating diverse perspectives. Infuse DEI principles into course content and teaching methods.
Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of professionalism, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for both students and colleagues.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as needed to ensure the success of the training program, as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
Nonprofit Leadership: At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles within the nonprofit sector, with a strong understanding of organizational operations, strategic planning, and workforce development.
Teaching Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching or facilitation experience, particularly with adult learners in either classroom or virtual settings.
Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using learning management systems (LMS) and integrating technology into the educational experience.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for a wide range of learners.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage with community partners to enhance the learning experience.
Remote Instruction: Experience with hybrid or virtual teaching is preferred, including familiarity with HyFlex delivery models.

Schedule and Delivery
Courses are designed to be flexible to meet the needs of participants. They typically span 45 hours and may be delivered in-person, via hybrid format, or fully online. Some evening or weekend availability may be required.
Compensation
This part-time role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $60 to $100 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
