Job description Metropawlitan Petsitters is a professional pet-sitting company serving the Arlington, Alexandria, and Falls Church Area. We are looking for a field manager to join our team. This person will work to support the daily operations of the business. This includes supporting our pet care associates, meeting with clients, managing dog routes and pet visits, overseeing the daily schedule, and maintaining quality control. The ideal candidate will live in the Arlington, Alexandria, or Falls Church Area due to travel and to be available for last-minute requests. We prefer a candidate with extensive pet care experience. The ideal candidate:

  • We are a small company, be ready to wear multiple hats. 25-50% of the work will be from home.
  • High-energy individual with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Be a zoologist at heart.
  • Comfortable communicating policies and procedures to both clients and pet care associates.
  • Have an undying love for animals.
  • Someone who feels comfortable with all breeds and sizes of pets.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Can work independently.
  • Demonstrate a keen ability to handle multiple tasks and details.
  • Be adaptable - things happen. We need people who won't unravel when things aren't seamless.
  • Own a reliable, insured, registered, and inspected car.
Responsibilities:
  • Field inbound and outbound communications with pet pros and clients.
  • Manage quality control of pet visits.
  • Coordinate the daily schedules of our dog walkers and pet sitters along with our scheduler.
  • Organize internal resources - Build out and maintain daily processes.
  • Step in last minute to support clients and sitters.
  • Communicate policies and procedures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Prior management/training/sales experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:
