Optometric Assistant & Technician - $15-$17/HR

Qualifications/Experience:

• Must be available/flexible to work Monday-Wednesday & Friday-Saturday (occasional Thursdays).
• Someone who desires a career with room for promotional growth.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A College Degree is preferred but not required. 
• Vision/Health/Medical industry background is preferred but not required. 
• Benefits and Rate of Pay commensurate with experience and skill level.
• Administration/Office Experience is preferred. 
• Optical Experience is nice to have, but can be trained.
• Sales Experience/Skills is needed.
• Computer Skills is needed.
• Communication Skills are needed.
• Reliable commute to Kapolei is needed.
• Proficient in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets) is needed.

General Job Description:  
Provides assistance in many areas of the practice from assisting with office flow, general administrative and clinical duties such as basic patient intake, history, triage, diagnostic testing (auto refraction, fundus photos, visual field equipment), phones, recalls, collections, frame and lens boutique, dispensing, minor eyeglass repairs, and contact lens training, to name a few. Comprehensive, in-depth, paid training provided.

Salary: From $15.00-$17.00 per hour.

Current Schedule/Work Hours:

• Mon, Wed, Fri = 800am - 545pm.
• Tues = 730am - 615pm. (overlap shifts)
• Sat = 730am - 1230pm.
• OFF = Thursdays, Sundays & half day Saturdays.
