The client is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions in the telecommunications and utility sectors. The company specializes in high-quality outdoor enclosures, fiber management systems, and network access solutions. They are known for their durable and innovative products designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions and meet the specific needs of their clients. They also offer customized solutions to support various infrastructure projects, ensuring reliability and performance in critical applications.

Job overview

We are looking for a Network Engineer with Cisco certifications, hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki products, and a solid understanding of network security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions while integrating and securing network environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy Cisco network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Manage Cisco Meraki network devices and solutions, including access points, switches, firewalls and security appliances.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and security issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Implement and manage network security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure VPNs.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Integrate Cisco network solutions with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Maintain up-to-date network and security documentation.
• Stay current with Cisco technologies, Meraki products, and industry security trends.

Ideal Profile

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a network engineering role with a focus on Cisco and Meraki technologies.
• Cisco certificates.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing Cisco Meraki solutions, including Meraki MR access points, MS switches, and MX security appliances.
• Experience with implementing and managing network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
• Experience with MS Azure will be a plus

Full-time position with the necessity to go to the office 1-2 times a week
