#### Key Responsibilities:

- Assess Loan Applications: Review and evaluate loan applications based on clients' financial status, credit history, and property evaluations.
- Guide Clients: Help clients choose the best mortgage products that fit their needs and financial situation.
- Support Throughout Process: Assist clients through every step of the mortgage process, from pre-approval to closing.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest Massachusetts mortgage lending laws, regulations, and market conditions.
- Build Relationships: Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.
- Document Management: Ensure timely collection and submission of all necessary documents.
- Provide Clear Information: Offer clients accurate and understandable details regarding loan terms, conditions, and costs.
- Collaborate: Work closely with underwriting and closing departments to ensure smooth loan processing.

#### What We're Looking For:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: New licensed loan officers are welcome; mentorship and training are available.
- Skills: Understanding of mortgage products, loan origination processes, and state regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with mortgage loan software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Licensing: Must be licensed by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) or able to obtain licensure.
