Job Description

The candidate will have a passion for working with middle school students and helping them to succeed. The teacher will have the ability to do the following:

• operate in a catholic environment promoting strong moral values
• manage a 7th grade homeroom
• provide the students with a strong foundation in grammar and writing instruction with the ability to inspire and engage students in Grades 6-8.
• plan and implement lessons that cover grammar rules, sentence structure, and punctuation.
• present lessons to help students to effectively organize and articulate their thoughts through various forms of writing.
• create a positive environment conducive to learning and discussion.
• collaborate with middle school colleagues regularly
• communicate often with parents
