Salary: 85,150 - 153,925 USD per year Requirements:

• I am looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 4-8 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 12 years of experience will be considered.
• A strong understanding of Linux operating systems, including system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Comfort in taking phone calls from customers and providing end-user support.
• Ability to work on-site (no remote work) and travel up to 25%.
• Residency in Huntsville, AL or willingness to relocate to the area.
• U.S. citizenship and current Final Secret Clearance, with the ability to maintain active final Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• As a member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with development teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system integration, performance, and deployment.
• Providing advanced troubleshooting and support for mission-critical systems, particularly in Linux-based environments and containerized applications.
• Implementing and maintaining system configurations to ensure optimal performance, security, and stability.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for supported systems, including configuration guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Performing system installation, configuration, and support for fielded systems.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
• Providing level 1-2 end-user support through answering phone calls and emails, including assisting users with configuration changes, patch updates, and functionality testing.
