Position: RN - Ambulatory Care

Start Date: 11/11/2024

Duration: 13 Weeks

Location: Midland, MI, 48670

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days,5:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 9

Shift Notes: 0500-1430 initially; may need to float to 0730-2000

Weekend Requirements: Every 4 weeks

On-Call Requirements: Sat & Sun days 0700-2300 or Fri & Sat nights 2300-0700

COVID Vaccination: na

Travel Policy: Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates for one 13-week contract, afterwards, they are to go perm- 50 mile radius restriction)

EMR: Epic

Dress Code: Hospital-Provided Scrubs

This position has basic knowledge of operative procedures to assess and implement care for ambulatory surgery patients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• (30%)* Regularly assesses patient's/client's needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician-authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice.
• (30%)* Provides direct patient resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc.
• (20%)* Evaluates the effectiveness of the treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care.
• (10%)* Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician-ordered care accurately, completely, and promptly.
• (10%)* Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.

Submission Requirements

• 2+ Years of Experience - Required
• Pre/Post-Op Experience - Required
• PACU Training - Preferred

Profile Requirements:

• Work History
• Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
• License/Certifications (MI LARA & BLS, ACLS - AHA)

Certification Requirements

• BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements

• Michigan

Additional License Requirements

• Active at the time of submission
