We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Intake / Data Entry Specialist. This role is essential in supporting our Utilization Review Department by gathering intake information, creating electronic patient files, and managing certification letters. Key Responsibilities:

Answer and direct calls to the appropriate team member and manage voicemail messages for the Utilization Review line.
Collect and accurately input demographic information to create patient files in our system.
Handle various correspondence, including printing, mailing, faxing, and copying as needed.
Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. No weekends or nights.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional courses in computers, medical terminology, data entry, and secretarial training are a plus.
Skills: Proficiency with computers, data entry, word processing, and multi-line phone systems. Being bilingual is a bonus but not required.
Experience: At least one year of office experience is required, and prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Personal Qualities: We're looking for someone with a friendly and helpful telephone demeanor, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. You should be able to work with diverse professionals and provide administrative support when needed.
Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour.
