In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across email, SMS, push/in-app messaging, chatbots, direct mail, and loyalty programs for 6-8 clients. You will cultivate strong client relationships, ensuring their success in lifecycle marketing efforts. By effectively communicating with clients, you will help maximize their investment in email marketing while developing strategic recommendations to elevate their initiatives. You will collaborate with creative production teams to bring your strategies to life.
### Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic roadmaps to achieve clients' goals, identifying optimization opportunities and deploying new strategies for their email marketing programs.
- Present strategic roadmaps to clients and adjust strategies based on their feedback, direction, and priorities.
- Collaborate with creative production teams to execute planned strategies and maximize clients' return on investment.
- Review reporting and analytics with clients, providing key insights and optimization opportunities to enhance their programs.
- Manage lifecycle campaigns from production to analysis, including creative development, building, quality assurance, deployment, and reporting for multiple clients.
- Build automations, campaigns, and segments within various email service platforms.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure progress on email campaigns and special projects.
### Required Education and Experience:
- Previous agency digital marketing experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- At least 5 years of combined experience in managing email/SMS, CRM, in-app, and direct mail marketing strategies and execution, including:
- Automated flows (welcome series, cart abandonment, post-purchase, etc.)
- Audience segmentation
- Personalization
- Data analytics and reporting
- Lifecycle marketing strategy
- Client account management
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field is preferred.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- A positive attitude and strong internal motivation.
- Comfort with leading calls and engaging via phone/Zoom.
### Functional/Technical Knowledge & Skills:
- Basic HTML experience.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics.
- Proficient in several major email service providers (ESPs) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools (e.g., Klaviyo, MailChimp, Bronto).
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Monday.com.
