Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join their team.  This is a part-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Type title insurance commitments from attorney-drafted documentation using appropriate formatting, and edit documents as needed.
• Prepare and finalize insurance policies ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
• Maintain and organize files and documentation related to title insurance efficiently.
• Conduct research related to title insurance and real estate matters as needed to support documentation and policy preparation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in title insurance or related legal fields.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a typing speed of 50+ wpm.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Hours & Benefits:

• M-F between the hours of 25-28 per week
