Job Summary:

The DCM Investment Banking Analyst will be instrumental in supporting senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing debt-related transactions. This role requires a keen understanding of financial markets, particularly debt instruments, and strong analytical skills to evaluate market conditions and client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Support the structuring and execution of a variety of debt transactions including bonds, loans, and structured finance.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to inform the development of debt solutions for clients.
• Assist in preparing pitch books and other client materials that outline potential financing strategies and recommendations.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the viability of potential debt structures.
• Monitor economic, sectoral, and capital market trends that impact the debt market.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to facilitate due diligence, documentation, and closing of transactions.
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients to ensure effective service delivery and identify new business opportunities.
• Support deal roadshows, including preparing presentations and speaking to investor queries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the deal process.
• Analyze and report on the performance of issued debt instruments and market trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (such as CFA) preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, specifically in Debt Capital Markets or related financial services.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in work.
• Motivated team player with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of debt instruments and capital markets.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance issues in financial markets.
