Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Analyst to join our team. As an Investment Analyst at FranShares, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our investment offerings. This position will focus on analyzing financials, developing return calculations, crafting financial narratives, and engaging with investors. 

Key Responsibilities:

The position requirements will evolve depending on the status of the offering. 

• Pre-Offering Analysis (i.e. offering evaluation up to launch):
  • Analyze financial statements, projections, and other relevant data to assess the viability of potential investment opportunities.
  • Develop return calculations to estimate potential investor returns.
  • Create comprehensive financial narratives to accompany investment offerings.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis and benchmark potential investment opportunities within and across the relevant industry segment.
  • Engage with issuers raising capital to provide all necessary information and work with FranShares team to assess and market the offering
  • Collaborate with the investment and operations teams to ensure all necessary due diligence is completed both internally and in partnership with counsel. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support the development of offering marketing collateral.
• After an Offering is Launched and Filled
  • Engage with potential investors to answer questions about the financial aspects of offerings.
  • Own ongoing financial reporting from issuers, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Partner with the marketing team to ensure key details are included in investor updates 
  • Discuss financial performance and updates on calls with the team and investors.
  • Monitor the financial health and performance of investment offerings to ensure alignment with projections.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or a similar role, preferably experience with franchises.
• Experience with equity crowdfunding is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to engage with investors and answer detailed financial questions.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and return calculations.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
