The Food and Beverage Inventory Control Clerk Manager will take a broad approach to leading Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts' raw and finished goods inventories. You will oversee, train, and develop location Food & Beverage Inventory Control Clerks and Food Handlers in accurately implementing the tasks that contribute to lean inventory management. A successful candidate will be a “Problem Solver", who seeks opportunities for continuous improvement by using system and reporting data. You will also serve as the point of contact for local owners of the P&L statement. This position will report to the Executive Chef.

What You Will Do:

  • Standardize processes and procedures for inventory planning and ensure Cast members are adequately trained

  • Partner with other Inventory Control Leaders to share standard methodologies and handle any regional concerns (i.e. vendor communication, substitutions, etc.) on behalf of the Inventory Control Clerks and Food Handlers

  • Monitor and report metrics (i.e. cost of sales, inventory value, overtime, forecast accuracy, etc.) to drive efficiency in the inventory management process across our Food and Beverage locations

  • Coordinate and manage the Inventory Control Clerk's day-to-day schedule to meet the business's needs accordingly and conduct Cast rotation within the region

  • Standardize and update processes and procedures related to inventory ordering and management, including documentation

  • Draw insights from cross-functional teams to enhance and improve processes and performance

  • Lead localized monthly Sales and Operations Planning meetings for larger events and inventory increases

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain partners on product lifecycles to facilitate new product rollouts and optimally lead end-of-life inventory planning

  • Run open Orderable Assortment (OA) activity, including orders, transfers, and cost centers as well as review and request items to be added to the location's OA

  • Handle forecasting recommendation overrides

  • Implements sustainment plans from Optimization and Transformation projects

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience leading and supporting office and technical roles

  • 2+ years of experience working in inventory management or supply chain roles

  • Proven mathematical and analytical skills applicable to forecasting and metric reporting

  • Ability to work independently

  • Basic understanding of all Supply Chain processes and the upstream effects of localized decisions

  • Ability to navigate data and extract from various sources

  • Talent for developing partnerships and work with Cast Members and Leaders at all levels in the organization

  • Experience with SAP, ODBC, Snowflake, and Business Objects

  • Proficiency in basic computer functions necessary to operate in a Windows environment and other technologies including Symphony EYC Gold Application or similar supply chain software

  • Schedule availability may include weekends, variable shifts, and holidays. Shifts may begin as early as 2:00 am.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working in forecasting or capacity planning

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, or Business or equivalent
