Job Description

HCT seeks an experienced radiology professional for an interim Radiology Director for a 250+ bed hospital in Northern California. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides overall administrative and clinical leadership of inpatient and/or outpatient diagnostic imaging services that may include radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, computed tomography, nuclear medicine and/or magnetic resonance imaging services.
• Establishes and implements goals, standards and practices that guide and support patient care initiatives while ensuring the delivery of high-value quality care and exceptional care experiences.
• Develops and fosters a solid partnership with physicians, medical staff and hospital leaders, care teams and other employees to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives, to resolve operational challenges and/or to improve processes.
• Communicates affiliate, operating unit and system goals to staff, helping staff understand impact on patients, operations and resources. Develops/approves plan of action to address current and future resource needs in order to meet service and/or operational demands and objectives.
• Assists in meeting financial targets by effectively managing and utilizing personnel and resources.
• Monitors staff productivity, ensuring optimal use of resources and makes appropriate changes in response to fluctuations in workload.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required. Graduate of an accredited radiology school or accredited Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, MRI, and/or Radiation Oncology program.
• Experience: Twelve (12) years of combined experience of diagnostic imaging and managing diagnostic imaging services; Demonstrates knowledge of and experience with diagnostic imaging operations in acute and non-acute settings.
• Certifications: AART, CNMT, ARDMS, CRT, ARMRIT preferred
• Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record (EPIC), Radiology Information System (RIS) and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
