Job Description

Adecco is assisting a local client in Hopkinsville, KY to fill several Grounds Maintenance positions. This is an immediate fill long-term opportunity.

Pay Rate: $15.00

Hours: 7am – 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the overall daily maintenance and repairs.

·          Inform management of any critical maintenance repairs that need to be addressed.

·          Review work priorities daily and ensure they are serviced each day.

·          Inspect the building and grounds and perform routine maintenance.

·          Ensure the facility is in safe condition for guests and employees.

·          Inspect vacated areas for signs of tampering or disrepair and conduct necessary repairs immediately.

·          Oversee the operation of equipment used in performing maintenance repairs.

·          Maintain a periodic log of general and preventative maintenance duties performed.

·          Set up and disassemble areas for special events.

·          Tend to flowers, trees, landscaping, trash pickup, mowing, leaf blowing, weed eating and pest removal.

·          Power washing

·          Small repairs such as water leaks, drywall, painting, HVAC maintenance

·          May assist with burials.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, training and/or experience which would clearly demonstrate the essential functions, knowledge and skills listed.

Ability up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to stand during entire shift. Steel toes are required.

Employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees. Assist in the security of the facility for the safety of the guests and employees. Comply with fire, health, and safety regulations.
