We're seeking a dedicated Glazing Superintendent to join our team. We're partnered with a premier commercial glazing contractor, specializing in delivering top-tier glass and glazing solutions across diverse projects. Position Overview: The Glazing Superintendent holds a pivotal role in ensuring project success by providing leadership, supervision, and specialized expertise in the field of glass and glazing. This position involves managing project teams, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining stringent standards of quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of glass and glazing projects, ensuring strict adherence to schedules, budgets, and uncompromising quality standards.
* Coordinate seamlessly with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure precise execution aligning with project specifications and requirements.
* Provide adept leadership and supervision to field personnel, including foremen, installers, and laborers, fostering a cohesive and motivated team under the Glazing Superintendent's guidance.
* Conduct routine site visits and inspections to diligently monitor progress, proactively identify potential issues, and implement swift corrective actions as needed.
* Collaborate closely with the safety department, ensuring rigorous enforcement of safety protocols to maintain an unequivocally safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
* Efficiently manage material procurement, inventory, and delivery schedules to seamlessly support project timelines and demands.
* Exhibit exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, address concerns, provide consistent updates, and ensure unwavering customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, encompassing comprehensive reports, progress updates, and meticulously kept as-built drawings.

Requirements:

* A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred), OR equivalent extensive work experience within the glazing industry.
* A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role within the commercial glass and glazing sector.
* Profound knowledge of diverse glass and glazing systems, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
* Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, team management, and adeptness in guiding and motivating field personnel.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in utilizing project management software and tools.
* An unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Possession of a valid driver's license and readiness to travel to project sites as required.
