**This is a freelance, REMOTE position.**

The Content Value Team at GameRant is currently looking for highly motivated talent who have a love for not only gaming, but a passion for editing, and a strong understanding of SEO.

At DualShockers, we are committed to informing and surprising our readers in ways they aren't expecting. We strive to steer our team to collect clear, attention-grabbing information with illustrative and original images. We want our readers to walk away from our content with something they never knew, that will essentially change the way people think about the gaming world!

The ideal candidate is someone who has a keen eye for detail when reviewing published content to identify areas that need improvement to increase the reader experience.

Responsibilities: 

• Edit a variety of article types to increase content value for readers in a number of areas (including formatting, images, navigational elements, aesthetic improvements and more).
• Engage thoughtfully in the threads community to help bolster a healthy discourse and create a positive culture.
• Work under tight deadlines and submit tasks on time.
• Provide feedback to continually improve our writers’ abilities.

Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements:

• Self-starter and quick learner, who is able to adopt and implement new content strategies in an ever evolving industry.
• Healthy appetite for learning new skills and software to foster the most efficient workflow possible.
• Strong communicator who doesn’t hesitate to message for assistance when required and also responds to messages in a timely manner.
• Broad knowledge of gaming history and culture.
