We are looking for an experienced full stack web engineer who is strong in web application development, has an eye for visual design, and obsesses over great user experiences.
Description
As a full stack web engineer you will have responsibilities spanning all phases of web app design, development, and deployment. You will be working on customer facing web apps that reach millions of users daily, as well developing internal tools which assist the department in content production. You are comfortable and prefer the best practices of software development, such as agile development, code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing. You have worked closely with project managers, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, estimate accordingly, and deliver quality work on-time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Expertise building client-side web applications with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Expertise with JavaScript single page apps using React/Redux & TypeScript
- Expertise with CSS3 and using SASS
- Experience consuming and developing RESTful APIs
- General knowledge of networking protocols & (GET, POST), cookies and other headers
- Experience working with database technologies (Mongo, Redis, S3)
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience programming with Ruby, Python, and Java
- Experience with ProseMirror or rich text editors
- Experience with event-based messaging systems (Kafka)
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and Selenium
- Experience with app containerization, tuning, optimization, deployment, and performance of workloads running in a cloud environment (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
