About the position:

• Title: Flex Security Officer
  Location: Austin, Texas 
• Employment type: PT - This position is not eligible for OT.
• FLSA status: Non-Exempt
• $20 per hr.
• 50% paid Medical/ Dental/ Vision / and Free Life insurance for FT employees available after the first 60 days
• Daily pay; get paid as soon as the NEXT DAY!
• Cascadia Global Security is looking for part-time unarmed security Officers to work anywhere between 15-25 hours per week.  The ideal candidate would be able to dedicate 2-3 days a week on either night shift or day shift and be available to be called in to work those allotted days.

Flex Security/Reserve Guard Responsibilities:

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions which may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism determent
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills and report writing experience
• Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies

Pay and Benefits:

• Salary: Starting at $17.00 per hour Depending on Experience (DOE)

• 50% paid Medical/ Dental/ Vision / Accidental / and Free Life insurance for FT employees available after first 60 days.

Other:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
