Major job duties

• Assist with projects, getting mail, preparing mailings, collating documents and filing.
• Provide answers to basic financial aid-related questions in a professional manner.
• Making phone calls to students. May include responding to voicemail messages and email inquiries.
• Document conversations with students in electronic format.
• Provide support for organizational efforts for the staff.
• This position may also be responsible for scanning and indexing of documents.

Qualifications and experience

• Must be eligible for Federal or State need-based work study funds.
• Must be able to keep student record information confidential. Must work in an ethical manner.
• Must have the ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population of students, parents, staff and faculty.
• Must be able to operate a computer and telephone.
• Must be able to read data from a computer screen, interpret the data and provide information to students.
• Be able to follow instructions.
