The Opportunity:

As the Final Mile Terminal Manager at AM Home Delivery, you will play a critical role in ensuring that goods are received and dispatched appropriately and that our service commitment to our customers is met. Ideally, you would be an enterprising individual who takes charge in a mid-level position to manage, plan, coordinate, and monitor the staging, routing, and scheduling of the final mile delivery of items to businesses and individual customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee end-to-end logistics processes involving last-mile delivery.
• Plan, organize, direct, manage, and evaluate the operations, budget, and performance of the terminal teams.
• Develop and implement operational procedures for receiving, handling, storing, and delivering items, while also maintaining documentation of overages, shortages, and damages.
• Monitor fuel purchases, mileage, and vehicle maintenance to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Continuously improve operational efficiency and maintain quality and safety standards in the terminal.

Desired Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in logistic operations, especially in last-mile delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team in a high-speed environment.
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles – strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coordination of people and resources.
• Proficiency in logistics software systems and other related IT systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• Advanced degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience with white-glove delivery services.
• Professional certification from a recognized Logistic or Supply Chain organization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
