The community builders for International Students through the Center for Faith and Spirituality and members of the Carthage International Student Club are seeking faculty and staff members to host two or more international students in their homes for a Thanksgiving meal. Students are interested in sharing this uniquely American cultural experience.
“When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence.”Thanksgiving hosts will provide transportation to and from the Thanksgiving meal and are asked to host two or more students in their home. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know some of our international students and offer them a memorable off-campus experience. No overnight stays.
For more information on the Thanksgiving meal exchange opportunity, contact Holly Hess, purposeful life and leadership coordinator and international student org advisor, at hhess@carthage.edu or Debbie Clark at dclark@carthage.edu.
