Job Description: Shine Social Brand is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Communications Assistant to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will support the communications team in executing effective communication strategies, managing media relations, and creating engaging content.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and editing press releases, newsletters, social media posts, and other communications materials.
  • Help manage social media accounts, including content scheduling, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments.
  • Support the coordination of media relations efforts, including maintaining media contact lists and tracking media coverage.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform communication strategies.
  • Assist in organizing and promoting events, including coordinating with vendors and managing event communications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
